IMPORTANT TRAINING:  

All training will be provided at the beginning of your shift as a support staff member. Please arrive on time so you do not miss important instructions. Prior to the event you can expect reminders and further event details sent via email.   

WHEN TO ARRIVE AND WHAT TO BRING ON 9/11:  

Unless instructed otherwise, you need to arrive promptly when your Support Staff shift begins (the one you selected above). This time is usually one and a half hours earlier than when the regular meal packing volunteers start their shift.   
We will confirm with you your exact arrival time.

It is essential you be on time because that's when your training will be provided. 

We will have a light breakfast and/or lunch available, along with snacks/water/soft drinks/coffee/tea.

Dress comfortably.

Bring a water bottle, which you can refill on-site.

You can bring a backpack, but it will have to be checked through security, and stored in the break room, so don't bring valuables.

If you want a friend to help, have them register in advance.

By registering for the 9/11 Day Meal Pack, you agree to read and abide by the Terms & Conditions, and waivers of liability that govern this volunteer service project, including giving us permission to take and publish photos of you, and any minor children that may be accompanying you, for the express and limited purpose of sharing information about the 9/11 Day Meal Pack to media organizations and others.
